Fishing Report: March 25, 2012

Great week in Matagorda Bay....Tommy Z. caught this good redfish on plastics this last Sunday and our group ended day cathing many fish. Had 5 red, 9 trout, and 1 black drum that day.

ED lure and Kelley Wigglers in pumkinseed were the ticket....we waded in West Bay area. Time to book a trip with us at GOFISHMATAGORDA.COM......Capt. Walt Wendtland, Doublesteall Fishing Guide Service. Also wanted to let all of boaters who use the diversion canal that the end is marked real good. Capt. Coach and I spent most of the day on Monday in the water marking it to make it safe for the boats who run that way each day.
Want to remind all of you that there are still a lot of big logs you cannot see under the water in that area.
